1. Stomp ‘n Brew- 10.7.2023, 11AM-4PM
Offering the best in libations brewed, distilled, pressed and vinted right here in the High Country, the 4th Annual Stomp and Brew celebration in downtown West Jefferson is the perfect place to unwind this weekend.  Sample the wares on display and buy an extra bottle to take home!  Please enjoy responsibly ☺

2. Live Music at Old Barn Winery- 10.6.23-10.8.23, multiple groups, various times.

3. New River State Park-
Winding its way through Ashe County like a lovely and rare emerald necklace, the New River is the second oldest river on Earth and has been captivating people with its beauty and charm for centuries.  Fantastic trout fishing, scenic views and surrounded by our vibrant fall colors, there are many places to access this national treasure.  Start your journey down the New by visiting New River State Park.

4. Blue Ridge Parkway-
While the Linn Cove Viaduct is probably the most famous section of the Blue Ridge Parkway, there are many hundreds of miles of breathtaking beauty available on America’s original scenic byway.  Many of those miles pass through Ashe, Alleghany, and Watauga counties.  Picnic lunches, jaw-dropping overlooks, and hiking trails complete with waterfalls, we believe you’ll find that as your elevation rises toward the heavens, your view gets better all the way up.
